Diabetics Delight


We’re still on a sugar kick after our chocolate binge the other day so we thought we would report on another diabetics treat, cupcakes. There is a trend these days of parties which include cocktails and cupcakes. While this combination is really is no more than an excuse for women to gorge themselves on calorie infested cakes and booze for an evening, we’re all for it. Whatever helps defuse their icy urban personalities and melts their clothes away.
Our fat bellies discovered that best cupcakes from West Coast to Europe can be found at Sprinkles and Joan’s on Third in LA, at the perpetual line around the block Magnolia Bakery in New York’s West Village and at the Hummingbird Bakery located in the middle of London’s gentrified Portobello Road. All of these shops use real butter and sugar in their frosting which makes all the difference.
