Hangovers: The best way to cure a hangover is as follows: take 3 Advil, drink a Pepsi, a coffee, and a bottle of water, and whenever possible have sex directly thereafter. The concept of drinking a shot of booze to cure the hangover is an interesting idea as long as you have some self-restraint and don't wind up getting drunk all over again, in the morning no less.
