Hideaway in LA: Suncrawler: The Ambrose

Discretion is always important and Suncrawler let’s us know about his latest Los Angeles hideaway, The Ambrose in Santa Monica:

"Set back from the Pacific Ocean in a residential neighborhood the Ambrose is a oasis created a California-Japanese Zen style. Unlike at other more marquee named LA hotels located on the West Side of LA, where overzealous actors seem to play the part (and badly I might add) of concierge, bellhop and bartender, one can stay at the Ambrose unfettered. The staff at the hotel are professional, courteous and most importantly discreet. Given its location and small 77 room atmosphere, the Ambrose has more of a residential feel and is ideal for longer stays or trips that need to stay off the radar. Rooms 304 and 305 have outdoor balconies with fireplaces. My tables of the moment are listed below."
