Kill Trees, Save Lives: London: Bono: The Independent

Earlier we reported on the launch of the Bono endorsed American Express RED card where a percentage of cardholders purchases goes to support the Global Fund. Today word comes from Booze Island that Bono, one of the RED campaigns founders, will be editing an edition of Britain's The Independent Newspaper - jokingly referred to as the red daily for its hammer and sickle poltical coverage. The edition, to hit newstands on Tuesday May 16th, will no doubt draw on Bono's rolodex of political, economic, and cultural power players. Half of the revenues from the edition will be donated to the RED campaign. We now return you back to your reguarly scheduled content of self indulgence and duty free excess.
