Mullet City: Santiago: Agua: Highball

In anticipation of her upcoming staffing needs in the Northern Hemisphere during the summer months, Highball, our favorite high heeled martini swilling lass has fled to South America to hire herself a Brazilian pool boy and Argentinean polo player. Although the currency exchange is working in her favor she sends this disgruntled dispatch from Santiago, Chile:

“Next time you find yourself in Santiago, the city of ratty stray dogs and an endless sea of mullets, head directly for Agua for dinner. Although boring is not a strong enough word to describe the nightlife here and food is generally bland and subpar, Agua offers a fantastic menu difficult to find in this city. The Easter Island tuna tartare was among the best I have ever had (its topped with mango sorbet which made it near perfect) and the ostrich was quite tasty as well. Once considered one of the top 50 restaurants in the world (which I find a stretch), Agua´s minimalist interior a la Morimoto now only hosts a small crowd. Don´t let this scare you. It was hands down the best meal available in Chile.”
